Posts: 119 06/02/08 6:28 PM	Tags : None Hello I am new to this site...I have wanted to meet new peolpe that are just as horse crazy as I am...I have 8 horses, mostly gaited but I love all types and breeds, I just had to go to gaited due to my joints...love the smooth ride. I live in Western WA and it rains a lot here...so we bought a small boarding facility that has a indoor arena, got to find a way to ride without getting wet. My boarders actually barely make it feasable to have my horses...not making it rich ha ha ha I have three kids and a wonderful hubby...we all enjoy the horses. Here is a couple pictures of my horses..need to take some updated ones of my horses...will do that soon.. Thankyou... Tam

We were going to do the same thing. but we are starting from Scratch (big mistake). We will be getting a barn built this year and hopefully our pastures fenced.. How big is your indoor? Oh but I hear ya on the not making the money.. How much land do you have?.. Oh did I say welcome..lol... Horses Of Course

Posts: 119 06/04/08 4:33 PM	Debbie ....you made it here...goodie!! I actually live a little over an hour away...that is my favorite place on earth...there is something about being by the ocean. So one of these days I will be living right next to it. My boarding facitlity is not real big...we have 17 acreas and my have right now 12 stalls and the option to buid 4 more. My arena is 70 x 120...wish it was a little longer but it works well for us. When we bought this place it already had the arena and four stalls up...most the fencing and everything was bad...we are slowly getting it done...my hubby got very ill right afte we bought this place...so lots of the money saved went to just our living expenses. We are now blessed with a much better healthy hubby and we are getting by with our stables. I have things that is on the list...but of course that isn't going to happen right away. I am so glad to have found this site...everyone seems very nice....so I told my buddy about it and now she is own way here to right DEBBIE!!!!!!!! Thanks Tam

Posts: 5495 06/04/08 9:54 PM The Big Kahuna	Hey Dia..Oh yah the ocean.. I miss so much.. We live a long way from the ocean.. We use to do lots of camping trips and camp right by the ocean.. It is beautiful.. I wish I still had the pictures on my computer.. We loved Oregon! The indoor that I wanted to do is 70 X 150.. Do you find 70' wide is enough?? I will only have 4 stalls in the barn.. But we have 54 acres.. so lots of room for outside board.. Just talked to the guy that is going to help fence.. eee.. I hope to get a couple of pastures fenced and pens and a round pen.. Then I will be happy.. the arena has to wait for a few years I am sure.. I am glad your hubby is better.. That must have been scary!! So do you have your barn full with boarders? Yah this board has a lot of great people.. We love to learn from each other or just get to know each other and what we do kind of thing.. Jump right in.. The more the merrier... lol Horses Of Course
